About the Role

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong short-form editing (CapCut or similar)
• Genuinely good research instincts — Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, Google
• A real feel for American humor and internet culture
• Someone who asks "why will anyone watch this?" before opening the editor
• Reliable with weekly deadlines, works independently
• A few hours of overlap with U.S. Pacific time each week
• Canva and AI tools a plus
• This is not a video editing job. If you're waiting to be told which clip to
• cut, this isn't the role. We want someone who shows up saying "here's what we
• should make next, and here's why."
• THE AUDITION (required)
• Make one 30-second Reel on this:
• "One surprising thing people don't know about living in
• Los Angeles or Orange County."
• Don't introduce yourself. Don't tell us why you should be hired. Show us.
• We're looking at one thing: hook → curiosity → payoff → a reason to act.
