We collect information you provide when you create an account or use the service:
- Name, email address, and profile details (role, skills, experience) when you register as a job seeker or employer.
- Account credentials for sign-in. We never see your password — authentication is handled securely via SSO providers.
- Content you submit: resume, profile photo, job listings, messages, and applications.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interactions with the platform, collected via standard web analytics.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Match Filipino job seekers with employers actively searching for talent.
- Surface relevant job opportunities and candidate profiles.
- Improve the platform and personalize the hiring experience.
- Communicate service updates, security notices, and transactional messages.
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abusive behavior.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Profile data you mark as public is visible to other WorkFil users — a Filipino talent profile is visible to employers who browse the directory; job listings are visible to talent who browse jobs. Messages between two users are private between those parties.
We share data with service providers strictly for operational purposes (hosting, email delivery, AI-powered profile scoring), under contractual obligations that require confidentiality and limited use.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies to measure site performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but authentication features require session cookies to function.
5. Data Security
WorkFil runs on Cloudflare Workers with encrypted data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (D1 and R2 with AES-256 encryption). We follow industry-standard practices for access control, key rotation, and audit logging.
6. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Access and update your profile data via your dashboard.
- Download a copy of your data by emailing privacy@workfil.com.
- Delete your account and associated data via your dashboard settings.
- Opt out of marketing communications through the unsubscribe link in any email.
7. Children's Privacy
WorkFil is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us at privacy@workfil.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in service or regulation. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
