Fine Art Artist / Illustrator — Remote Commission Work

Galerie Veyne is an emerging international online art gallery focused on discovering talented independent artists and bringing authentic, human-created artwork to collectors. We are looking for classically trained or highly skilled artists who can create original drawings and paintings from supplied artistic references. What You’ll Create * Pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolor, acrylic, oil, or other traditional artwork * Figure studies and portraiture * Realistic and expressive drawings/paintings * Occasionally tasteful adult figure studies * Original artwork based on supplied photographic/artistic references All depicted subjects will be adults. The work is intended as fine art and will be presented as artwork through an international gallery. What We’re Looking For * Strong fundamentals in anatomy, proportion, perspective, composition, lighting and shading * Excellent drawing or painting ability * A strong understanding of traditional fine-art techniques * Ability to work from photographic references * Ability to reproduce the character, pose and lighting of a reference while still producing an original artwork * Strong portfolio demonstrating your actual artistic ability * Reliability and ability to meet agreed deadlines Formal art-school/classical training is preferred, but exceptional self-taught artists are absolutely welcome. Preferred Artists We’re particularly interested in artists skilled in: Graphite • Charcoal • Ink • Oil • Acrylic • Watercolor • Gouache • Colored Pencil Both traditional physical artwork and high-quality digital painting/illustration may be considered. Compensation Paid per commissioned artwork, with compensation based on the medium, complexity, size and quality of the finished work.
