SEO Backlink Building Specialist / Virtual Assistant – Part-Time (Remote)

We are Wright Designs Studio, a growing UK-based website design and digital marketing agency looking for an experienced SEO Backlink Building Specialist to join our team on a long-term, part-time basis. You will be responsible for managing off-page SEO and backlink-building activities across approximately 10 UK client websites, primarily serving local businesses including roofing, landscaping, construction, glazing and other trades. Daily responsibilities: * Research and secure high-quality, relevant backlinks for our client websites. * Build and manage UK local business citations and directory listings. * Identify guest posting and editorial backlink opportunities. * Conduct competitor backlink research to discover valuable linking opportunities. * Carry out personalised email outreach to relevant website owners. * Find industry-specific and geographically relevant UK websites for backlinks. * Monitor existing backlinks and identify broken or lost links. * Maintain accurate records of backlinks secured, outreach activity and pending opportunities. * Provide weekly progress updates and monthly reports for each client website. * Recommend opportunities to improve website authority and local Google rankings. You will work independently, managing your own workload while communicating regularly with the agency owner. We are looking for someone who can grow with our agency as we take on additional SEO clients. All backlink-building work must follow ethical, sustainable SEO practices. No spam, automated link farms, private blog networks or bulk low-quality backlink packages.
