Did PECO update the electric meter for your home yet? So the state of Pennsylvania had PECO upgrade all the old analog meters to the new digital ones, to prepare homes for the net metering program. The program allows you to get solar installed without having to buy the panels or take out a loan like everyone did in the past. And if you're approved, there's zero out-of-pocket cost. You'd essentially no longer have to pay PECO, and instead pay a 30% cheaper bill. That's a fixed rate each month, starting day one. Does that make sense? Perfect. So we're not looking to do anything over the phone or install panels today. We actually have our techs in the area for the next couple of days. I'll have him swing by to shake your hand and see if the home is eligible. They'll show you apples to apples exactly what you're paying now versus what you could be saving if the home were approved. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Are you and your wife going to be home at 6 PM today? Spartan Solar
