We’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant to support an independent psychiatric nurse practitioner with both telehealth and in-person patients. 🩺 What You’ll Do: • Schedule appointments & send reminders • Handle patient intake & insurance verification • Manage and route patient portal messages • Prepare prior authorization paperwork • Submit and follow up on insurance claims • Send pre-approved patient communications • Log prescription refill requests for provider review ⭐ We’re Looking For: ✅ Behavioral/mental health practice experience in New York – required ✅ Strong understanding of healthcare administrative workflows ✅ Comfortable with HIPAA-compliant communication ✅ Excellent organization and attention to detail Bonus: Valant experience + advanced medical billing/claims experience 📩 Interested?
