About the Role
Requirements
- We are looking for someone who has experience creating social media content and understands the basics of visual design, short-form video, captions, hooks, branding, and online engagement. The ideal candidate is creative but also organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines. This role requires someone who can work across multiple mediums without losing attention to detail or brand consistency.
- Strong candidates will be comfortable using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, Adobe tools, or similar design and video-editing platforms. Experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook content, LinkedIn content, social media ads, copywriting, graphic design, and short-form video editing is strongly preferred. Experience creating content for businesses, clients, agencies, or professional brands is also helpful.
- Candidates should have prior experience creating social media, marketing, or digital content. They should have strong written English, a good eye for design, and the ability to create video, graphic, and written content. A portfolio, sample posts, social media pages, or examples of previous work are preferred.
- The person hired should be reliable, responsive, and comfortable working remotely. They should be able to attend occasional remote check-ins or planning meetings, manage assigned content tasks, receive feedback, make revisions, and complete work on schedule. Because this role involves multiple client profiles, the candidate should be flexible, organized, and able to adjust their style based on each type of audience.
- Success in this role means creating consistent, high-quality content makes us look professional, active, and engaged. The person in this position should be able to turn ideas into finished posts, videos, graphics, and ad creatives with minimal confusion. They should be able to understand the difference between casual social media content and more polished business or advertising content.
- A successful candidate will communicate clearly, meet deadlines, take feedback well, and improve over time. They will help our team produce content that is not only visually appealing, but also useful for marketing, advertising, engagement, and client growth.
