Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative in the logistics sector, you'll play a crucial role in connecting with potential clients and driving sales for a third-party logistics provider. This remote position is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales and a background in logistics.
What You'll Do
- Receive and manage daily leads from the Lead Generation tool.
- Conduct 100–150 outbound calls per day.
- Perform lead research and qualification.
- Execute cold calling and follow-up outreach.
- Set meaningful and qualified meetings.
- Handle appointment setting for prospects.
- Potentially conduct demo calls and close deals, as needed.
- Complete ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of any bachelor's degree or certificate course.
- Proven experience in the logistics industry.
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (at least C1 level).
- Strong phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy and familiar with current technologies, including CRM and VoIP.
- Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g., MS Office).
- Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g., Google Calendar).
- Proactive and confident with keen attention to detail.
- Able to work on a graveyard shift.
