Role Overview
As a Social Media & Content Marketing Assistant, you'll play a key role in enhancing the online presence of a dynamic company. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team focused on redefining the future of work.
What You'll Do
- Set up, optimize, and maintain social media profiles across various platforms.
- Update and complete online business directories.
- Maintain trackers for platform inventory, login/access credentials, profile completion status, content calendars, posting schedules, and next action items.
- Draft engaging social media content.
- Write or assist with blog articles and long-form content.
- Create graphics and simple marketing visuals.
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and assist with long-form video editing when applicable.
- Repurpose existing website content, FAQs, and notes into social media content.
- Schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms.
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement.
- Participate in Reddit, online forums, and relevant communities.
- Help organize and execute the overall content strategy.
Requirements
- Experience managing and optimizing social media profiles.
- Experience writing social media content and blog articles.
- Experience creating graphics and simple marketing visuals.
- Experience editing short-form videos for social media.
- Familiarity with Reddit, online forums, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining content calendars and marketing trackers.
- Experience with educational content creation, student engagement, or educational blog writing is an advantage.
