About the Role
Role Overview
We're seeking a Sales Development Representative to join an education-focused client and support their student loan services. In this role, you'll focus on outbound communication and account coordination, helping graduates navigate loan repayment and default resolution. Your work will directly contribute to revenue generation and positive outcomes for students.
What You'll Do
- Contact students and graduates in loan default to discuss their account status and available options.
- Make calls to encourage borrowers to resume payments or enter into suitable repayment plans.
- Collaborate with the default processing team to manage, update, and track student loan accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certificate course graduate.
- Experience in Education / Student Loan Services.
- At least 1 year of sales experience with a track record of meeting sales quotas and managing customer relationships.
- Excellent English communication skills (C1 level), both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in phone, email, and instant messaging communication.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Tech-savvy with familiarity in desktop sharing, cloud services, CRM, and VoIP.
- Proactive and detail-oriented.
- Able to work on a graveyard shift.
