Role Overview

Assist World is seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to manage inventory and e-commerce operations for a multi-channel cycling and multisport retailer. This remote role emphasizes precision in handling inventory, purchase orders, and online listings, ensuring that accuracy is prioritized over speed.

What You'll Do

• Ensure Shopify store accuracy by uploading inventory with correct product names, matching photos, UPC/SKU, and accurate pricing.
• Conduct routine spot-checks on a high-SKU, multi-vendor catalog to maintain accurate on-hand counts and prevent overselling out-of-stock items.
• Process purchase orders that match actual orders, including correct colorway, size, and specifications, while reconciling incoming shipments against POs and vendor invoices.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding order status and outstanding invoices, requesting proper invoices when necessary.
• Provide general administrative support, including email management, scheduling, and other daily tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Shopify and inventory management workflows.
• Proven track record in an administrative or executive assistant role, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently across a large, fast-moving SKU catalog with minimal errors.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Background or personal interest in cycling, running, triathlon, or sporting goods is a plus.
